light fixture Design
The graphical design of this fixture is inspired by the different transit branches and pathways taken by an automotive. The wayfinding pathways depicted within the resin material of this fixture is a geographical spin on how lighting is also used for wayfinding in interiors. The geometric form of this design reflects the form of a rail wheel.

Illuminated by an LED strip on the interior circumference of the fixture, this piece will perform as a sustainable lighting solution. Because accurate color is so important for this design, this piece will not be dimmable as this can cause inconsistencies or shifts in color illumination. LED's also resist damage by vibration making them the perfect source of artificial light for the hustle and bustle of this new transit station.
